Walk 27th May 2026

Well, it turned out to be a lovely walk today. 

Just six of us in the group. A small group but perfectly formed! 

Walton Colliery walk was postponed, so we set off from Horbury Working Members Club, down Cluntergate in warm sunshine to the river. 

Along the canal and up through a field of young inquisitive bulls to Crigglestone. 

Back up to HWMC just in time for tea and biscuits, served to us by Paula and Debbie. 

Next walk is on 24th June when we will be walking around Newmillerdam, Sandal Castle and return to the cafe. Join us if you can. More details nearer the time. 

Walk 22 April 2026 - Nostell Priory

We had a lovely walk round Nostell Priory grounds today.

The weather was perfect and everywhere looked absolutely beautiful in the sunshine.
